In a nod to Mid-Century Modern style, VAN DANG’s iconic custom vessel features a reveal at its base. This detail gives the oversized vessel a visual lightness of being, as if it’s floating. The built-in base prevents the hottest part of the candle from ever touching your tabletop, eliminating the chance of damage to furniture. At 2.5mm thin, the vessel wall allows candlelight to glow through, like a lantern, illuminating its organic texture - which has been likened to lava rock, coral and even the surface of the moon.

❖ Never leave a lit candle unattended, and do not burn one for more than 2 hours at a time.
❖ Always burn a candle until the entire surface liquifies, and allow it to solidify before re-lighting.
❖ Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch at all times, to avoid any black smoke. Gently re-position the wick while the wax is still molten.
❖ Always protect the surface on which the candle rests.
❖ Once only ¼ inch of wax remains, blow out the candle and let it fully cool before safely discarding it.
