3 Oregon-Based Projects Focused on Advocating for Women and Girls.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. In the spirit of women’s achievements past and present, we compiled 3 Oregon-based projects focused on improving the lives of all women. 

Oregon NOW 

Oregon NOW is the state chapter of the National Organization for Women. They work on behalf of NOW members in Oregon to achieve equality for all women and girls and to amplify the work of justice-seeking organizations.

Women’s Foundation of Oregon

WFO’s mission is to dismantle sexism, racism, and structural oppression through the movement of resources and ideas in the region. They work side-by-side with open-hearted leaders and communities toward real and lasting gender justice. Become a member of the Women's Foundation of Oregon and join them as they work towards solving some of the most challenging issues facing the womxn, girls, and femmes of our state.

National Association of Woman Business Owners (NAWBO) 

NAWBO Oregon is the premier organization for women business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs in Oregon and SW Washington. NAWBO’s strength comes from its diverse membership – businesses of all sizes and in all industries, and in all regions of the country. It currently has over 8,000 members in over 60 chapters nationwide with worldwide affiliation.

NAWBO supports the aspirations of future women business owners by providing scholarships to young women in our local colleges and universities.
